Incredibly true people assume that weight gain is a cause of disability rather than a symptom of it. Many people who are under or overweight and disabled are so because of the conditions they have or the drugs they take to stay well. No amount of snide remarks, dieting or exercise will change that, it’s offensive and ignorant to suggest it will.
